Inspired by the work and spirit of the late Raymond V. Mundall, MD, HAFDRA was created to serve the local and international need for healthcare and education. Moving his family to the rural jungles of Belize, Dr. Mundall founded the hospital and clinic now known as La Loma Luz over 40 years ago. La Loma Luz Hospital and Clinic is currently the second largest health care facility in the country, known as a beacon of light for those in need. HAFDRA works alongside the Loma Linda University Health care affiliated hospital to aid the underserved population. Our organization goes once a year to Belize to further acculize Dr. Mundall’s work
If the vision of aiding underserved communities inspires you, we invite you to get involved. Please get in touch to learn about upcoming events and service trips.
